About

My name is Tori, and I am a 28-year-old AFAA certified fitness instructor in Primary Group Fitness and Kickboxing. I received my certifications in 2009 and have been teaching ever since! I also have a Master of Public Health degree, which has taught me worlds about the state of the population’s health in this country, how to study it, and how to enact change.

My lifelong dream was always to become a doctor, and I couldn’t be more excited that I’m finally starting down that path. I want to continue to have a venue for exercise and to never give up this part of myself.  I post a range of things related to health and fitness, in addition to some occasional recipes, and post 10 minute video exercise routines every so often for you to do at home (or to take ideas with to the gym!).

It was my passion for teaching group fitness classes, devotion to nutritious eating, and drive for learning as much as possible about health and wellness that led me to create this blog. In documenting the things I’ve learned over the years, I hope you will gain from it as well.

  5. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂 You are very personable and everything you say makes sense and is easy to relate to. I love that the workouts are 10 minutes. I have done some of them along with other things – I may try to do them in the morning before work, a little start to a bigger goal.

    • yes- it’s totally a bummer- because they really do have some great workouts! it’s just hard to get myself to their sight for the….um…other reasons ha.
