Does anyone remember this?
Well it just got better.
Loving pumpkin is admittedly a requirement for this recipe. But it’s just melt in your mouth good. It’s a good time to make it too because a) it’s sort-of-almost fall BUT b) it’s still not that cold outside. Therefore a cold pumpkin drink that tastes like dessert sounds like the perfect option for a light breakfast or afternoon snack.
Warning: it’s delicious and you may need to refrain from finishing it in under 5 minutes. Seriously.
Protein Packed Pumpkin Pie Milkshake
1 frozen banana*
1 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
1/4-1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon sugar free vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 tsp butter extract
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 packet sweetener (I used Splenda, but Stevia also works)
Mix ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
