This week I was newly re-inspired by interval workouts. I’m usually too tired to do them so early in the morning, but for whatever reason I’ve been full of energy.
The BEST part? I was so sore! Having taken a hiatus from these types of workouts, revisiting them was glorious. The theme will continue into next weeks weekly workout series.
I came up with the idea for the 10-20-30 workout so that it could satisfy time constraints. Only have 10 minutes? Just pick one color and do those. Have 30 minutes? Pick all three colors and do them all! (And, of course, picking two colors will put you at around 20 minutes). I suggest 60 seconds of work with 10 minutes of rest, but if you’re really pressed for time or concerned about injuries/ability to do these exercises for that long, you can take it down to 50 seconds with 10 seconds rest. Feel free to modify your work/rest paces according to your needs.
Oh, and there are plenty of free interval workout timers online- just do a quick google search.
